What's next?

We're looking forward to these exciting possibilities:

Butterfield Station
Costa Pacific Communities is honored that the Sacramento Regional Transit has named us a qualified developer, and selected us to develop a community at the Butterfield Light Rail Station.

The Butterfield Station will be the first true transit oriented development (TOD) along the Sacramento Light Rail Line. The Butterfield Station transit oriented development will provide mixed income housing, as well as retail and commercial services. The addition of residences will help offset the current jobs to housing imbalance in the region, an important change for long-term viability and economic health.

Currently, the area surrounding the Butterfield Station is dominated by a surface parking adjacent to the California State Franchise Tax Board (FTB). In the near future the FTB will employ approximately 7,000 people, further increasing the region's need for affordable housing.

Butterfield Station is the first of many light rail stations where the Sacramento Regional Transit has surplus land and is fostering TODs. Costa Pacific Communities is currently creating a development proposal for the next station on the line: Power Inn Station.

Market Station
Costa Pacific Communities has optioned 42 acres at the intersection of Franklin and Five Mile Road in Boise, Idaho. A transit-ready community is being considered, as the property is adjacent to a designated transit corridor. It offers 146,000 sq. ft. of commercial and 482 residential units, with an approximate value of $189 million.

The Metropolitan
A residential mixed-use building on one square block in downtown Boise, Idaho, The Metropolitan consists of 33,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail and 90 units of residential condos in five stories. The Met has a projected gross development value of $43 million.

Power Inn Station
This thirteen-acre site is located on Sacramento Regional Transit District's Folsom line. A transit-oriented development, Power Inn Station will include apartments and mixed-use commercial. The approximate value is $58 million.
